Job Title : Inspector/Packer
Shift:   7am-7pm or 7pm-7am
Job Location:   Davenport, IA
 
Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is:
  • Pay Rate: $19 .1 5-20.15/ hr + $1.50 hourly weekly attendance bonus!
 
Job Summary:   Inspector/Packer contributes to our client's mission by providing product innovation, product line expansion, and an unyielding commitment to serving the needs of our customers.
 
Responsibilities:
Inspector/Packer has the following responsibilities and duties:
  • Ability to read packing assembly and quality sheets at assigned machine and follow specifications.
  • Retrieve parts produced by injection molding machine.
  • Visually inspect parts for quality to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Trim excess plastic with the trimmer tool, wipe oil or grease as necessary
  • Label parts as directed by set-up sheet.
  • Make boxes as directed by set-up sheet.
  • Pack parts into boxes as directed by set-up sheet.
  • Ensure that part drops free from machine each cycle.
 
Requirements:
Inspector/Packer should have the following skills, education, and experience:
  • Must have recent on the job longevity performing similar duties.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform work at a fast pace.
  • Ability to  lift up  to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 30 pounds and rarely up to 50 pounds, repeatedly bend and lift boxes onto pallets.
