Responsibilities:
- Record general ledger entries including journal entries.
- Assists CFO with all aspects of financial and cost reporting, including month and year end activities.
- Maintain and update schedules for fixed assets, and draft related general ledger journal entries if needed.
- Complete account reconciliations monthly.
- Assist with annual preparation of budget draft.
- Ensures inventory transactions are recorded and ensures cycle counts are reconciled to system of record. May assist in cycle counts as necessary.
- Maintain staffing pattern and manage payroll budget.
- Review reconciliation of employee benefit deductions; ensure accuracy of monthly insurance invoices.
- Ensure customer invoices have been prepared and recorded in the system.
- Ensure deposits for each sale have been deposited and recorded.
- Prepare invoices for inter-company activity monthly.
- Reconcile corporate credit card statements to ensure all receipts have been submitted and approvals obtained.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred and/or Associates degree with equivalent accounting experience.
- Possess critical thinking skills as well as a desire to work with data and utilize an analytical skillset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with drive to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
- Experience with general ledger software programs.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and set work priorities.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a consistent manner.
