Position Summary:
The Office Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role supports managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
- Process orders, invoices, and other documentation accurately and efficiently
- File and retrieve company documents, records, and reports
- Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and database maintenance
- Prepare shipping labels and assist with order tracking
- Greet visitors and provide general administrative support
- Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed
- Perform other clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, mailing, and faxing
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely communication and workflow
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
- Previous experience in an office or clerical role preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills
