Assembler/Fabricator

1st Shift | M-Th, 5-3:30pm
$20/Hour
 
Duties:
  • Assembling equipment using tools provided.
  • Placing parts together using manual or assisted lifting to align parts per assembly drawings.
  • Properly tighten fasteners using hand and power/impact tools.
  • Tap or drill holes into parts for proper assembly, as needed.
  • Identify and report any issues discovered during assembly. 
  • Correctly place labels and stickers on parts per instructions.
  • Assist other departments of manufacturing such as paint line, fabrication, and machine operation (will include loading/unloading). 
  • Potential to be trained in testing assembled product for quality assurance.
  Qualifications:
  • Strong basic math skills and ability to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Must be able to operator fork truck and skid steer with company training/licensing.
  • Knowledge of how to read engineering drawings/blueprints accurately.
  • Previous Manufacturing, Fabrication and/or Machine Operation experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat, grip with both hands, push and pull throughout entire shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly and up to 75lbs on occasion.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
