Salina, KS 

Wage: Starting at $40 / hour + full benefits package  

Shifts Available (you pick):

  • Days: Thurs-Sat, every other Wed 

  • Nights: Thurs-Sat, every other Wed 


Sedona, a local professional recruitment firm, is partnering with a leading local manufacturer seeking a skilled PLC Technician to join their dynamic Salina Kansas team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical control systems and equipment. This is a direct hire, meaning the right fit candidate would go directly onto the hiring company's payroll and be eligible for their benefits package.

Responsibilities: 

  • Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical control systems and instrumentation. 

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance. 

  • Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces).

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. 

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance and reliability. 

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. 

  • Utilize and manage Work Order software and other computer applications to support maintenance operations. 

  • Capable of running conduit and pulling wire for power distribution and controls integration. 

Qualifications: 

  • Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field (preferred) 

  • 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Controls Technician in a manufacturing environment. 

  • Strong knowledge of PLC  programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley).

  • Proficient in reading  and interpreting  electrical schematics and blueprints.

  • Experience with HMI programming and configuration.
