Housekeeper
Schedule: Weekend availability required (Friday-Sunday), with additional weekday shifts as needed
Hours: Day shift, 9AM – 3PM
Location: Dubuque, IA
Wage: $13-15/hr

A local hotel is seeking dependable housekeepers to join their team during the busy travel season. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties, including:
    • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
    • Dusting furniture and sanitizing surfaces
    • Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms
    • Changing bed linens and making beds
    • Replenishing guest room amenities and supplies
    • Inspecting rooms to ensure cleanliness and guest readiness
  • Assist with laundry operations as needed
  • Report maintenance issues or damaged items to management
  • Follow hotel cleaning and safety procedures
Requirements:
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work weekends (specifically Friday and Saturday) and flexible scheduling as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for entry level candidates
