Temp Inventory Control Specialist
Manchester, IA | $21/Hour
Mon – Fri | 7am -4pm
Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist supports manufacturing operations by receiving, organizing, tracking, and distributing parts and materials. This position helps maintain accurate inventory levels, fulfills internal material requests, and ensures a safe and efficient warehouse environment. This is a temporary position that will run up to a few months in duration.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments.
- Pick and distribute materials to production teams.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine inventory counts.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and complete required equipment inspections.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Perform other inventory and warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Previous warehouse, inventory, manufacturing, or similar experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, and kneel for periods of time as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
