Overview:
The Machine Operator is a skilled professional who focuses on the use of heavy machinery to complete the manufacturing process of turning raw materials into nonwoven products.

Responsibilities:
- Operate all equipment efficiently and safely
- Produce exceptional product that meets or exceeds specifications
- Set up manufacturing equipment for daily production schedule
- Propose improvements to the process or machines as needed
- Understand the operating procedures for equipment
- Maintain equipment and machinery to maximize production and minimize downtime
- Training and overseeing other employees on machines
- Reporting safety hazards on the line or facility Document and record production and quality information as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS ABILITIES
- 2 Years previous experience in a manufacturing facility
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Great communication skill and able to work and train all other positions on the line
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot potential issues
- Ability to lead a team and train other employees, as needed
- Resourcefulness in learning new processes and procedures and able to implement and train others
- Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to understand mechanics and technical tasks
- Ability to identify issues or problems in operations
- Proactive in preventing production or mechanical downtime occurrences
- Proven leadership ability
- Good organizational skills
Physical Requirements: Must be able to continuously stand and/or walk for extended periods on concrete surfaces. Ability to repeatedly kneel, bend, crouch, and/or stoop throughout the shift as needed to successfully perform job duties. Ability to work in extremely hot and cold temperature Must be able to lift up to
50 lbs.
