Position Overview
Crouch Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Coordinator for a client company in McGregor, Texas. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and helping ensure the efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. The Inventory Coordinator supports production, shipping, and receiving operations by monitoring inventory levels, performing cycle counts, tracking shop supplies, and helping ensure materials are available when needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the company’s ERP or inventory management system
- Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages, discrepancies, and excess inventory
- Process inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, and adjustments
- Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with quarterly and annual physical inventory audits
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and help coordinate corrective actions
- Maintain documentation for inventory adjustments
- Track raw materials, components, and finished goods to ensure proper storage and inventory control
- Coordinate material movement between warehouse, production, and shipping departments
- Support production schedules by ensuring needed materials are available
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of shop supplies and consumables
- Coordinate replenishment of shop supplies to prevent production interruptions
- Organize and maintain supply storage areas
- Track usage trends and communicate replenishment needs
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips
- Ensure received materials are properly labeled and entered into the system
- Assist shipping teams with locating and verifying inventory for outbound orders
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing support
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in supply chain, logistics, or business preferred
- Experience using inventory management systems or ERP software
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Knowledge of cycle counting and inventory control procedures
- Ability to read purchase orders, packing slips, and inventory reports
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise, dust, and debris
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Schedule
- Monday–Friday
- 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Some weekend work may be required based on production needs
