Seamstress

• S ewing, stitching, and tailoring clothing and other textiles   to meet customer needs and design specifications.
• Constructing and altering garments to meet customers' specific preferences and requirements.
• Conducting fittings to determine necessary alterations and ensure proper garment fit.
• Using various sewing machines and techniques to create, alter, and repair clothing.
• Cutting fabric according to patterns and sewing pieces together to construct garments.
• Understanding different fabrics and textile types to work with them effectively.
• Ensuring sewing machines and other equipment are in good working order and performing minor adjustments.
• Communicating with customers to understand their needs and  preferences and  providing advice on alterations and garment fitting.
• Performs other duties as assigned .
