Yard Worker

Job Title:   Y ard Worker   ( no experience needed, but the job is physical )

Shift:  1st shift  ( 2 openings )

Job Location: Cordova, IL 61242

Compensation:    $ 15.00 per hour 

 

Job Summary for Yard Worker:   The purpose of this role is to support the day-to-day functions of production by performing a variety of tasks, and assisting with production.

 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

 •            Perform general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, preparing loads for shipment, and building pallets.

•             Properly use hand tools and equipment.  Safely prepare or move products for the next process or for shipping.

•             Train for additional tasks and/or upgraded job roles, such as Forklift Operator

•             Maintain a clean work area to ensure a safe, hazard-free working environment.

•             Janitorial duties as assigned.

                

Education/ Experience: 

High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required

Ability to lift 50 lbs required

Must have reliable transportation to Cordova, Illinois
