Job Title :   Mechanical  Engineer   (Entry Level)

Shift: 1st shift                                     DIRECT HIRE
Job Location: Maquoketa, Iowa

Compensation:   $ 60,000 - $7 0,000 based on experience
($1500 bonus after 90 days, and $1500 bonus after 180 days)
 
Job Summary for  Mechanical Engineer :    Employee researches, designs, develops and tests mechanical and thermal devices, ranging from robotics to engines and HVAC systems.  
 
Responsibilities for  Mechanical  Engineer:

Design & Develop: Use 2D and 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software to draft blueprints and design mechanical or thermal systems.
Prototyping: Build, test, and analyze physical prototypes to evaluate performance, durability, and safety.
Manufacturing: Oversee the production process, ensuring designs can be manufactured efficiently and meet quality standards.
Troubleshooting: Investigate equipment failures, analyze testing data, and implement design modifications to resolve malfunctions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field
  • Proficiency in design software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA or Creo
  • Strong foundational knowledge of kinematics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and material science
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Clean criminal background and drug screen required
