Job Title: Quality Technician
Shift: 2nd shift
Job Location: Sterling, IL 61081
Compensation: $ 22.42 per hour
Job Summary for : The purpose of this role is to conduct a quality audit of every unit during and after the manufacturing processes to ensure that products comply with quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Approve or reject in-process and finished goods by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments and/or rework to production and quality leadership.
- Red flag/tag all non-conforming products.
- Green Tag all good quality/conforming units for shipment.
- Perform measurements using metric or standard tape measures.
- Ability to effectively read and interpret Job Traveler instructions.
- Able to read simple blueprints.
- Keep work area clean from all debris to ensure a safe, hazard free working environment.
- Any other duties required.
Education/ Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of Experience in Quality Control position.
Some computer experience, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
High School diploma
Must pass background check and drug screen.
