Crouch Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Clerk with forklift experience to assist in the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, as well as operating a forklift. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Monday-Friday: 7 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay: $18-$20/ hr  DOE

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Receive and inspect incoming materials, tools, and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards.
  2. Label and store items in designated areas within the warehouse.
  3. Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, and label).
  4. Assist in unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
  5. Perform cycle counts and physical inventory checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
  7. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a safe manner.
  8. Report any discrepancies or damages to management.
  9. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
  5. Forklift experience and valid certification.
  6. Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory software.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Excellent communication skills.
  9. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
 
Working Conditions:
This position is located in a warehouse environment. The Warehouse Clerk will be required to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods of time. The position may also involve exposure to various weather conditions and temperatures.
