Job Description
We are seeking a skilled On-Site Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and performing repairs on a variety of specialized equipment. Your work will help ensure the smooth and continuous operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues using diagnostic tools.
- Perform component-level repairs and replacements (circuit boards, power supplies, fans, etc.).
- Support the installation and commissioning of new hardware and systems.
- Collaborate with the operations team to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or vocational training in electrical/mechanical fields preferred.
- Experience in hardware maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting (industrial or data center environment a plus).
- Familiarity with specialized computing hardware or other electronic systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including AC/DC power distribution.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools/software for troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to respond to on-call or off-hour emergencies when needed.
