Responsibilities:
- Greet individuals entering or contacting the Center in a courteous, professional, and welcoming manner.
- Maintain consumer files accurately, including electronic database records and physical file folders.
- Provide basic information, assistance, and referrals to consumers as appropriate.
- Maintain office files, records, agency forms, and other administrative documents.
- Answer and direct telephone calls, respond to emails, and assist with general inquiries.
- Perform data entry and operate office equipment, including computers, copiers, printers, and other related equipment.
- Retrieve incoming mail and deliver outgoing mail daily.
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and prepare and process outgoing mail.
- Monitor office supply levels and order supplies and other necessary items as needed.
- Perform basic maintenance of office equipment when appropriate and coordinate repairs or service when necessary.
- Open and close the office according to established procedures.
- Perform other clerical, administrative, and general office support duties as assigned or requested by the Administrative Team.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency in operating standard office equipment, including computers, postage machines, Braille equipment, copiers, printers, and related technology.
- Demonstrated computer and database skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and professional communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a flexible environment.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred .
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
