Commercial Architectural Design and Planning Specialist

Responsibilities Include:
- Commercial Architect to lead the designing and execution of commercial building projects, turning client visions into functional, safe, and attractive business spaces.
- You will manage projects from initial sketches through final construction.
- Working with new tenants to optimize physical work spaces.
- Performing Tenant Improvement Space Planning.
- Meeting with tenants to obtain spec’s, requirements and desires.
- Prepare a “fit“plan to scale and in CAD.
- Work with the Construction team to ensure plans are correct and built accordingly.
Requirements Include:
- Looking for a candidate that comes from a Commercial Architect background that also creates and executes the design of a commercial building project.
- Must be a True Designer for this role.
- Must be able to manage projects from initial sketches through final construction.
- Analyze space requirements, developing layout plans, and coordinating with tenants to ensure space allocations.
- Strong commercial designer background and experience with design & conceptualization: Creating 2D/3D drawings, blueprints, and models for commercial properties using software like AutoCAD or Revit.
- Must have a strong eye for detail.
- Working with the various Internal and Construction teams to ensure plans are built to design.
- Review schedules and adjust as needed.
- 5+ Years of related experience required.
- 2+ years experience using AutoCAD or Revit.
- Strong working knowledge of Office 365.
- Strong knowledge of building codes
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior design - Architecture or a related field preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to drive to work locations.
- Certification in space planning or interior design, such as NCIDQ - Preferred.
Physical Requirements Include:
- Talk, hear, and/or see with good vision abilities.
- Stand – walk – sit.
- Hand Eye dexterity.
- Reach – Climb – Squat.
- Lift up to 10 pounds.
Compensation: $95,000-$120,000 Yr. - DOE
