Job Title: Quality Manufacturing Engineer Technician
Shift: 1st shift - DIRECT HIRE
Job Location: Maquoketa, Iowa

Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000
( $1500 bonus after 90 days, and $1500 bonus after 180 days)
 
Job Summary for Quality Manufacturing Engineer Technician:  Will help wih the Production parts approval process (PPAP) and drive (APQP).  
 
Responsibilities for Quality Manufacturing Engineer Technician:
  • Will help with measuring parts, collecting data, and pulling together the standard submissions
  • Inspection of production and first articles, using surface plates, measuring machines, calipers, micrometers, optical comparitors and any other precision measuring device
  • Employee would work directly with manufacturing employees and customers on quality issues.
  • Submission of inspection data
  • Assistance in supporting and maintaining compliance of ISO9001
  • Maintain quality records and files
 
Qualifications
     *  High School diploma or GED;  Associates degree in related field a plus
     * Highly developed mechanical aptitude
     * 2 years experience in manufacturing
     * Clean criminal background and drug screen required
     * Experience with APQP, PPAP, Control plans, Preventative Maintenance, Process Flow
