Dealer Trade Clerk
 
 
Shift:  1 st  shift M-F
Location:  Moline, IL   
Compensation:  $18–$20/ hr  based on experience
 
Sedona Staffing is recruiting a Dealer Trade Clerk for a local company. The Dealer Trade Clerk will  administer paperwork and coordinate transportation for dealer trades.    Sends out contracts and payoffs for retail sales deals by performing the following duties.
 
Responsibilities
  • Facilitates the dealer trade process from start to finish.
  • Work with the New Vehicle Manager when trade is started, schedule driver(s) to pick up the vehicle, print necessary paperwork and check.
  • Maintains a pool of drivers for use in conducting physical dealer trade transactions with other dealerships.
  • Pick up sold retail vehicle contracts daily and prepare them to send to the correct lender.   
  • Scan in all documents from each department daily. Shred paperwork when necessary.
  • Post weekly service warranty statement from Honda and verify the funding is correct.
  • Other miscellaneous office duties as needed.
 
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.   
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions; work well in group problem solving situations.
