HVAC Installer Apprentice
 Pay: $17–$18 per hour
Start your career in the HVAC industry with paid, hands-on training! Work alongside experienced installers while learning to install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems. You'll gain valuable skills, complete an Iowa apprenticeship program, and work toward your Journeyman license.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 17 years old
  • Valid Iowa driver's license with a good driving record
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

What You'll Do:
  • Assist with residential HVAC installations
  • Learn to work with ductwork, copper, PVC, and HVAC equipment
  • Use hand and power tools safely
  • Transport tools and materials to job sites
  • Maintain equipment and complete required documentation
  • Attend apprenticeship classes and earn industry certifications
  • Follow all safety standards and company procedures
SCHEDULE : Monday–Friday, generally 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (30-minute unpaid lunch). Occasional additional hours may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs., climb, bend, kneel, and work in varying weather conditions.
