MIG Welder

Job Title:   Welder MIG

Shift:   1st shift 

Monday – Thursday  (5:00 AM – 2:30 PM);  Friday (5:00 AM – 9:00 AM) 

If overtime Friday (9 AM – 2:30 PM)

Job Location: Clinton, IA

Compensation: $ 16.50 - $18.00 limited welding experience  ( training involved )

                             $ 20.00 - $22.00 + with experience

 

Job Summary for MIG Weld :  Performs welding and brazing operations, which include metal cutting and metal fabrication work.   

 

Responsibilities for Welder:

• MIG weld metal products as needed to satisfaction of customer
• Interpret blue prints and specifications, including fixturing, fit up, tacking, welding, finishing, and inspection of welded part.
• Follows company policies and safety regulations
• Analyses and resolves fixturing and welding problems

 

Qualifications

     * High School degree required and technical training in welding, brazing and blue print reading 

     * Metal fabrication experience including hand grinding, milling and measuring.

     * Clean criminal background and drug screen required
