Sedona Staffing is
seeking an Accounting Assistant for a local company that specializes in
mechanical construction
services. This role will support day
‑
to
‑
day billing functions as well as project coordination tasks. The Accounting Assistant will work closely with project managers and the administrative team to ensure accurate billing, organized project documentation, and a smooth workflow across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle billing functions, including preparing, reviewing, and submitting invoices
- Complete AIA billing (strongly preferred)
- Assist project managers with project documentation, scheduling, and administrative support
- Track project progress, deadlines, and required documentation
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems as needed
- Communicate with internal teams and clients regarding billing questions or project needs
- Support general office and project coordination tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, or a related field of study
- Experience with AIA billing required or strongly preferred
- Previous billing, accounting, or project support experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid organizational and time ‑ management skills
- Proficient with computers and comfortable learning new systems
