Job Summary
Crouch Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter for a reputable manufacturing company in the Waco area. This position is ideal for a candidate with strong blueprint reading skills, fitting experience, and a solid background in structural or production welding environments.
The ideal candidate will be able to accurately interpret welding blueprints, fit and assemble materials to specification, and complete quality welds in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and measurements
- Fit and assemble metal components according to specifications
- Perform MIG welding on structural or production materials
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, and levels
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with additional fabrication duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Welder/Fitter is required
- Must have welding blueprint reading experience
- Strong fitting and fabrication experience required
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment
- Must be dependable and able to work overtime as needed
- Welding test may be required
