Position Summary:
The Forklift & Overhead Crane Operator is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and positioning materials throughout the manufacturing facility. This role operates forklifts and overhead cranes to support production, shipping, receiving, and material-handling operations while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, move, and position raw materials, finished products, and equipment.
- Inspect forklifts, cranes, rigging, and related equipment before use.
- Properly secure and balance loads before moving them.
- Follow lifting procedures, weight limits, and facility safety requirements.
- Deliver materials to production areas and assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Maintain accurate material movement and inventory records when required.
- Identify and report damaged materials or unsafe equipment.
- Perform basic equipment checks and report maintenance issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous forklift and/or overhead crane experience preferred.
- Forklift certification required or willingness to become certified.
- Overhead crane/rigging experience is a plus.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and position heavy materials.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
