Job Summary:
The Plant Manufacturing laborer helps make and package ice cream for distribution
.
Team members must pay attention to detail, keep cleanliness at a high standard, and
have the ability to
listen and take direction well. They must be able to work in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Plant Manufacturing Laborer
has the following responsibilities and duties:
- Ability to be in/out of fluctuating temperatures throughout shift – Freezer work daily
- Ability to analyze safety, quality and productivity and take corrective measures if necessary
- Learn to properly set up processing machinery
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area at all times
- Must be able to perform simple math and count correctly.
- Accurately complete all record keeping assignments
- Ensure inventory levels are accurate and on schedule
Requirements:
Plant Manufacturing Laborer
should have the following skills, education, and experience:
- Understand procedures and standards
- Stand and walk for 8+ hours a day with the ability to continuously reach, bend, lift, and carry boxes and products ( lift up to 50lbs)
- Ability to successfully pass a drug screening
- Written and verbal communication skills
