Temporary Janitor
Onsite: Manchester, Iowa
Monday-Friday, 7am -3:30pm
$15/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum floors within offices.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners as necessary.
- Clean kitchen or breakroom areas, including countertops, sinks, and appliances.
- Maintain exterior grounds, including picking up trash and keeping entrances clean.
- Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to the supervisor or facility management.
- Ensure that cleaning products and equipment are used in a safe and effective manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous cleaning or custodial experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Physical demands include walking, bending, lifting, and standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions if/when maintaining outdoor areas.
- Steel toe shoes, long pants, hard-hat, safety glasses, hearing protection (on the shop floor) and gloves are required.
