Sedona Staffing is recruiting a
Loan Ops Assistant
for a local bank. The
Loan Ops Assistant w
ill complete loan documents for all Branches
and also
the loan officers at the main bank facility. Loading loans to the ITI system, checking for incomplete documentation before booking the loans and checking back file maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Shares in the responsibility of completing Commercial and Ag real estate documents for all loan officers along with completing all other loan documents for all loan officers at all branches.
- Shares in the responsibility of loading loans to the mainframe computer system. This includes checking the loans for incomplete documentation and adding incomplete items to the DTS (Document Tracking System).
- Shares in the responsibility of pulling all reports from Summit and correcting daily reports such as the non-post, Interest Collected Not Earned, Las in Process and Fees in Process, held for sale, escrow account journal.
- Shares in the responsibility of locating and loading all census tracts on all loan customers onto the mainframe for CRA purposes.
- Shares in the responsibility of checking all loan tickets to the daily endorsement report.
- Share in the responsibility of preparing and processing all entries on non-accrual, charged-off, OAR and OREO loans.
- Shares in the responsibility of preparing and processing all entries on sold and purchased loan participation’s along with creating and establishing all new participation certificates with participating bank. A “shadow” file will be set up for each new bought and sold participation separate from main file.
- Shares in the responsibility of preparing and distributing all rate change sheets.
- Shares in the responsibility of overseeing quality control procedures, along with the set-up and maintenance of new credit files.
- Shares in the responsibility of all changes made to the mainframe system associated with the loan department.
- Shares in the responsibility of scanning all loan files.
- Shares in the responsibility of daily and monthly reporting of FNMA/FHLB.
- Shares in the responsibility of Monthly balancing of Pekin Insurance, LSI, IAC and ICS report.
- Shares in completing numerous monthly and quarterly board reports.
- Conduct all duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Bank policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least six months’ experience in the bank environment, to become familiar with work being performed in the bank.
- Minimum two years of computer experience with a high level of computer literacy.
- Must have an understanding of the bank environment such as understanding the importance of procedures and having pride in a job well done.
