POSITION SUMMARY:
The
Equipment Manager
is responsible for managing, distributing, and maintaining tooling and equipment for
the Machine Shop.
This role ensures that all the
equipment
is in proper working condition, organized, and readily available to support efficient machining operations. The position requires strong organizational skills, computer skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Issue tooling, fixtures, and equipment to
employees
as needed.
•
Maintain accurate inventory records of tooling and equipment.
•
Inspect to
ols and equipment
for wear or damage and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
•
Monitor
equipment
usage and notify the supervisor of shortages before depletion.
•
Assist in setting up tool
s
for machining operations as required.
•
Experienced in using computer systems to track tool
inventory
and
usage, and generate reports utilizing Microsoft
software
•
Ensure all
tools and equipment
is properly cleaned, stored, and organized
•
R
ead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and measurement tools.
•
Maintains a safe, compliant work environment by following OSHA and company standards and reporting hazards or maintenance needs to the supervisor. Complies with PPE requirements and participates in safety training, drills, and incident reporting.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Manual Dexterity (use of hands), Physical Strength (lift/move up to 45 lbs.), Physical Stamina (stand for extended periods)
. Exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, airborne particles, chemicals and or fumes.

a non-
climate controlled
environment.
