Sedona Staffing is recruiting for
a
Reciprocity/Receivable Specialist
for a local company in Moline, IL.
This position
is responsible for processing fringe benefit payments received
and
for coordinating, processing, and tracking reciprocity agreements and benefit
transfers. The
ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in QuickBooks.
Responsibilities
:
- Process and Posting Contractor Benefit Payments
- Process incoming and outgoing reciprocity transfer requests through the United Association's Reciprocity Clearinghouse system.
- Review and verify work history reports to determine eligibility for reciprocity transfers.
- Coordinate with contractors, other UA locals, and fund offices to ensure proper contribution routing.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked, transferred, and credited for each member.
- Communicate with members regarding the status of their reciprocity requests and answer related benefit questions.
- Resolve discrepancies in contribution data or member records by working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current on United Association reciprocity rules, policies, and procedures.
- Generate reports and summaries for union leadership and fund administrators as needed.
- Assist with audits and compliance reviews related to benefit contributions and reciprocity.
- Support other administrative tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Prior experience in union administration, benefit funds, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of multi-employer benefit plans and reciprocity agreements is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with database systems.
- Proficiency with Quick Books.
- The ability to work as a team.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage deadlines.
- Payroll or accounts payable experience preferred
