ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
LOCATION: CEDAR RAPIDS, IA
SALARY: $75,000-$90,000/YEAR

 Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for HVAC manufacturing equipment 
  • Create schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs (bill of materials) 
  • Use tools like AutoCAD Electrical for layouts and documentation 
  • Select and size electrical components (motors, controls, wiring, etc.) 
  • Test and validate designs (DVP&R, troubleshooting, debugging) 
  • Work with PLC systems and automation controls (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) 
  • Ensure compliance with codes (UL, CSA, NEC, IEC safety standards) 
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers and production teams 
 Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) 
  • Entry–mid level: 0–5 years experience 
  • Senior roles: 5–7+ years experience 
  • Skills in: 
    • CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor) 
    • PLC programming and automation 
    • Electrical standards and safety codes 
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
