The pay rate for this position is:
- Pay Rate: $17.50
Responsibilities:
General Fabricator has the following responsibilities and duties:
- Responsible for the wrapping of coil around the hopper pans.
- Ability to solder using an iron.
- Responsible for departments cosmetic work on items such as beaters and top panels.
- Ability to grind, compound, polish, deburr, peel paper, seal and assemble items according to the specifications.
- Track inventory of components to prevent shortages.
- Work with other departments to satisfy assembly needs.
- Also perform any other duties assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
General Fabricator should have the following skills, education, and experience:
- Must be skilled in blueprint reading.
- Work safely and consistently, ensuring high quality while performing repetitive operations.
- Quality conscious.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, twist, kneel.
- Must be able to be trained in the proper use of other assembly line equipment including (but not limited to) overhead hoists and pallet jacks.
- Must be able to understand and complete departmental paperwork.
