Job Summary:
Crouch Staffing Solutions is seeking a
Metal Preparation Technician
to join our team in Waco, TX. This role involves preparing metal enclosures for painting, assembling shipping materials, and assisting with product delivery and installation. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal preparation, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
✅
Surface Preparation & Finishing:
- Wash and prep safes and metal enclosures for finishing.
- Grind and smooth welds to ensure a clean, even surface.
- Apply body filler and sand surfaces for a uniform finish.
- Apply primer to metal surfaces before final finishing.
✅
Assembly & Shipping:
- Build and assemble shipping pallets for secure product transport.
- Wrap and prepare safes and enclosures for shipment.
- Install insulation inside safes and enclosures as needed.

Delivery & Installation:
- Assist with the delivery and installation of safes at customer locations.
- Ride in a company vehicle as a delivery helper on Saturdays as needed .

General Duties:
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications:
✔
Experience in metal preparation, finishing,
auto body repair,
or general manufacturing
preferred
.
✔ Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment .
✔ Comfortable operating power/air tools for extended periods .
✔ Ability to lift and handle metal products and materials.
✔ Valid driver’s license required for assisting with deliveries.
✔ Strong teamwork, communication skills, and attention to detail.
