Shipping Clerk
Location:  Cascade, IA
Shift: 1st shift Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Pay:  $20/hr

General Summary:
With general supervision, performs customer packaging of products.
 
Principle duties and Responsibilities / General Knowledge:
-Visually inspect parts before packaging- Quality Control and attention to detail needed
-Deburs parts
-Work with hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools.
-Package for delivery, according to customer specifications.
-Run metal working machinery as required.
 
 
Job Specifications:
-Working knowledge of customer blueprints and company work instructions.                                                                 
-Work with hand tool, power tools and pneumatic tools in the deburring process to make parts safe for the customer to handle. 
-Laser customer parts with an identification number, as requested by the customer.  This is obtained through on-the-job training.
-Interpersonal skills necessary to work others.
-Standing and walking required for over 2/3(+) of work time.
-Work requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and has been classified as medium duty per the Department of Labor standards.
- Required to utilize a sandblaster as needed.
 - Required to learn forklift- Will be taught and certified onsite.
 
Working Conditions:
Will be working around machinery on an occasional basis.  Requires standing for long periods of time on concrete. Must wear eye and foot protection and follow all safety rules to protect against possible hazards
