Job Summary
Crouch Staffing Solutions is seeking a dependable Material Handler/Water Spider
to support weekend manufacturing operations in Waco, Texas.
This position is responsible for maintaining a consistent flow of materials, tools, and components throughout the production facility. The Material Handler/Water Spider will ensure production workstations remain properly stocked to prevent delays and keep manufacturing operations running efficiently.
Employees will work three 12-hour shifts for a total of 36 hours and will receive pay for 40 hours. Additional voluntary overtime opportunities may be available during the regular workweek.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver materials, components, tools, and supplies to production workstations.
- Replenish inventory and materials at workstations throughout the shift.
- Remove completed products, empty containers, packaging materials, and scrap from production areas.
- Maintain an organized and consistent flow of materials to prevent production interruptions.
- Transport materials throughout the manufacturing facility using approved equipment.
- Assist with inventory transactions using barcode scanners, RF scanners, or ERP systems.
- Communicate material shortages, damaged inventory, and safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse, inventory, and quality teams.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S and Lean Manufacturing standards.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Complete additional material-handling and production-support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, material-handling, or production experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 12-hour shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience using barcode scanners, RF scanners, or inventory systems is preferred.
- Forklift or powered industrial equipment experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
Compensation and Schedule
- Pay rate: $20.00 per hour
- Weekend hours: 4:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Work 36 hours and receive pay for 40 hours
