Responsibilities:
Warehouse
Associate
has the following responsibilities and duties:
- Operate a wireless warehouse scanner for order picking and stocking
- Use a computer to schedule UPS pickups and enter Bills of Lading for truck shipments
- Package orders properly to ensure they arrive without damage
- UPS, FedEx, and truck shipping/receiving procedures
- Professional and courteous when assisting customers with will-call orders and walk-in pickups
- Unpack incoming inventory and stock shelves accurately
- I nventory rotation and date codes
- Perform basic maintenance tasks inside and outside the building
- Maintain accurate records and take clear notes for future reference
- T ake direction and follow instructions from the Warehouse Foreman
Requirements:
Warehouse Associate
should have the following skills, education, and experience:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and move items weighing up to 100 lbs. with the use of appropriate material handling equipment.
- Dependable and reliable
- Strong attention to detail
- Forklift certified
