Job Title : Pre  Solder/Copper Bending
Shift:  1st

Compensation:
The pay rate for this position is:
 
  • Pay Rate:  $ 17.50/hr
 
Responsibilities:
Pre Solder/Copper Bending  has the following responsibilities and duties:
 
  • Melt and separates soldered joints to repair misaligned or damaged assemblies, using soldering equipment. 
  • Pre-assemble and solder lines and components.
  • Use flaring tools for joining copper tubes.
  • Solder and braze lines on machines.
  • Produce other miscellaneous assemblies.
  • Cut copper tubing using hand tools and machinery.
  • Mark and bend lines according to machines, using pattern lines.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor
 
Requirements: 
Pre Solder/Copper Bending should have the following skills, education, and experience:
 
  • Must have prior experience utilizing tools such as flaring and soldering tools
  • Ability to understand assembly drawings, simple math, and tolerances.
  • Work safely and consistently, ensuring high quality while performing repetitive operations.
  • Accurate and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work closely with Engineers to determine manufacturability and consistency of newly introduced products or samples.
  • Quality conscious.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend, twist, and kneel.
  • Must be able to be trained in the proper use of other assembly line equipment including (but not limited to) overhead hoists and pallet jacks.
