CDL Dump Truck Driver
Location: Iowa
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Overnight travel throughout the week | Home Fridays
Pay: $29.95/hour

An Iowa pavement company is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver to operate dump trucks for paving and road construction projects. This position involves overnight travel during the work week, with employees returning home on Fridays.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport asphalt, gravel, dirt, and other construction materials
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment
- Load and unload materials at plants and job sites
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and crew members
- Assist with general labor duties when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned truck
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A or B license
- Clean driving record preferred
- Previous dump truck or construction driving experience preferred
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Comfortable with overnight travel Monday–Friday
