Production Set-Up Technician

Set Up Technician/ Operator

2nd shift    (train on 1st and then move to 2nd)          

$17.65 starting - $18.40 after probation   (with experience, can start lower without experience and train)  

Sterling, Illinois

Full time,  Monday – Friday  (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

Skills required:

Will set up assigned injection molding production lines

Perform machine set-ups, including mold changes when switching to new products

Setting up auxiliary equipment (sonic welders)

Setting up take-out robots

Supporting Trouble-shooting activities while machines are running

Maintaining machine logbooks and following LEAN 5S protocols

 

Qualifications required:

High School or GED

2 years minimum in Manufacturing environment

Experience in LEAN Manufacturing facility

Demonstrated knowledge of injection molding, machine operations and continuous improvements

Must read, write, and understand the written word for work instructions and production schedules

Microsoft office and ERP systems  experience

Licensed forklift experience preferred
