Job Title: Truss Builder
(New Wage) (several positions open)
Job Location: Cascade, Iowa
Truss Builder Compensation:
- $21.64 per hour 1st shift (6 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Thursday); 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM or noon) Friday
- $23.64 per hour 2nd shift (3:30 PM - 1:00 AM Monday - Thursday); (Noon - 4 PM) Friday
Job Summary for Truss Builder: Employee will work on both wooden and steel trusses assembling all sized parts. Preferred candidate will be able to do repetitive tasks and understand basic measuring skills.
Responsibilities for Truss Builder:
- Truss builder will read tape measure or rulers to make appropriate assembles
- Will work with framing hammer and hammer holder
- Will assemble both wooden and steel trusses (all sizes)
- Must have basic industrial skills and have worked in that setting
Requirements for Truss Builder:
- Must have current drivers license
- Employee will pass tape measure reading and basic industrial skills test
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
