Hose Assembly Technician
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hose Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling hydraulic and industrial hoses according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hose Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling hydraulic and industrial hoses according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble hydraulic and industrial hoses using hand tools and assembly equipment
- Cut hose to required lengths and attach fittings according to work orders
- Operate crimping machines and other basic shop equipment
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, leaks, and quality standards
- Read and interpret work orders, measurements, and basic blueprints
- Label, package, and prepare finished hoses for shipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing/shop setting
- Exposure to noise, machinery, and industrial materials
- Steel-toe boots and PPE required
