Sedona, in partnership with a local Peosta manufacturer is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team. This position is key in ensuring that all parts meet quality standards through inspections and audits using approved techniques. The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for inspecting parts and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This includes reading blueprints, performing inspections at various stages of production, and assisting in calibration functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Conduct dock audits and receiving inspections.
- Perform part layout inspections, including PPAP, ISIR, and APQP.
- Execute first piece, in-process, last piece, and final audit inspections.
- Paint and engrave templates as required.
- Assist in calibration functions and corrective actions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic math skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to use calipers, protractors, micrometers, specialized gaging, and CMM (training provided).
- Dependable with good attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with ISO policies and procedures.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
