Production Operator - All Shifts
Pay: Starting at $19/hr
Location: Lena, IL
Schedule: 3rd Shift
  • 1st Shift: 6 AM start time
  • 2nd Shift: 2 or 2:30 PM start time
  • 3rd Shift: 9:45PM or 12:15 AM start time
    • Estimated 8-hour shift, with potential for OT
Position Summary:
The Production Operator supports daily plant operations by assisting in the processing and packaging of cheese products. This role focuses on maintaining food safety standards, monitoring product quality, and accurately completing production records. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to working safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with cheese processing, cutting, wrapping, and packaging operations
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Operate basic production and packaging equipment as trained
  • Conduct routine quality inspections to ensure product meets company standards
  • Complete required production logs and documentation accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas throughout the shift
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or lead personnel
Qualifications:
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Able to work at a fast pace while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow quality standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ pounds consistently
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
