Schedule:  Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Pay:  $20.00/ hr  to start

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive  Purchasing Agent  for a full-time position in Waco, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing vendors, placing orders, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and supplies. Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery times
  • Place purchase orders and track order status to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
  • Monitor stock levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate supply
  • Work closely with production and warehouse teams to meet material needs
  • Resolve issues related to delayed shipments or defective goods
  • Negotiate with vendors to secure the best pricing and terms
  • Maintain vendor relationships and evaluate vendor performance
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
