Position Overview
:
This is an
entry-level hybrid role
involving hands-on manufacturing support in our shop as well as computer-based design work using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, curious, and motivated to grow professionally.
This role is not a repetitive or routine cubicle job. You will be exposed to many aspects of manufacturing, product development, customer applications, and business operations. The first several years will involve significant learning and skill development.
Responsibilities:
Entry-Level Manufacturing & SolidWorks Technician
has the following responsibilities and duties:
- Assist with manufacturing and assembly of air tools weighing between 3 and 18 lbs (most under 10 lbs ).
- Perform assembly using simple hand tools such as battery-operated screwdrivers and wrenches.
- Learn and use SolidWorks to create and update mechanical drawings (training provided).
- Support various shop , office , and product-development tasks as needed.
- Work with team members on product testing, new product development, and problem-solving for customer applications.
- Adapt to new responsibilities and tasks as the company grows.
Requirements:
Entry-Level Manufacturing & SolidWorks Technician
should have the following skills, education, and experience:
- High school diploma or recent college/trade school graduate preferred.
- Strong computer skills; comfort with learning technical software (e.g., SolidWorks).
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work hands-on with tools and components.
- Ability to lift up to 18 lbs safely; most tasks involve parts under 10 lbs.
- Positive attitude, curiosity, and desire for long-term growth.
- Flexibility and willingness to perform a wide variety of tasks in a small-company environment.
