Position Summary:
The Laborer will assist with general outdoor and production activities related to wood operations. This position involves physical labor, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, handling materials, maintaining work areas, and assisting other team members with daily operations.
The Laborer will assist with general outdoor and production activities related to wood operations. This position involves physical labor, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, handling materials, maintaining work areas, and assisting other team members with daily operations.
Essential Duties:
- Plant, maintain, harvest, and handle trees and wood products.
- Load, unload, move, and stack logs, lumber, trees, and other materials.
- Operate hand tools and basic equipment as directed.
- Assist with land clearing, planting, mowing, trimming, and general property maintenance.
- Keep work areas, equipment, and tools clean and organized.
- Follow safety procedures and company instructions.
- Perform lifting, bending, carrying, standing, and other physically demanding tasks.
- Assist coworkers with various projects as needed.
- Perform other general labor duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Previous farm, forestry, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience is helpful but not necessarily required.
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools.
- Must be willing to work in changing weather conditions.
