Die Cast Operator
Location: Monroe, WI
Pay: $20/hr
Job Summary:
The Die Cast Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring die casting equipment used to produce metal components for electrical motor and generator products. This position ensures machines are properly set up and running efficiently while maintaining product quality, production standards, and a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor die casting machines and related production equipment.
- Load & handle aluminum and other metal materials used in the die casting process.
- Set up and verify dies, molds, and machine components prior to production.
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain consistent production and part quality.
- Inspect cast components for defects such as cracks, flash, porosity, incomplete fills, or other imperfections.
- Perform trimming, cleaning, and basic finishing of cast components as required.
- Complete routine equipment checks and assist with basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate production, inspection, and quality records.
- Clean and prepare dies and equipment for the next production run.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred/required.
- Previous manufacturing, metalworking, or die casting experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
- Ability to operate industrial equipment safely and follow established procedures.
- Ability to lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures may vary.
- Ability to work effectively with production, quality, maintenance, engineering teams
