Legal Assistant

• Prepare and process legal documents and papers, such as summonses, subpoenas, complaints, appeals, motions, and pretrial agreements
• Mail, fax, or arrange for delivery of legal correspondence to clients, witnesses, and court officials.
• Email with clients, attorneys, court officials, etc.
• Receive and place telephone calls
• Organize and maintain law libraries, documents, and case files
• Schedule and make appointments

• High school Diploma or GED.    
• A minimum of 6 months previous administrative and customer service experience required.
• Previous certifications a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is required
• Must have strong organization skills and be able to work in a   fast-paced   environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
