Machinist (Manual and CNC)

• Operate CNC machining centers, including mills and lathes, as well as manual machining equipment.
• Perform machine setups and prepare equipment for production runs.
• Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Read and understand basic CNC terminology, including M-codes and G-codes.
• Make and revise CNC programs manually and/or directly at the machine.
• Perform machining processes including drilling, milling, tapping, boring, and turning.
• Inspect completed work using precision measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers.
• Run a variety of production jobs while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and assist with routine machine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow all company safety procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or machining certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of CNC machine operating experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of CNC machining terminology and basic G-code/M-code concepts.
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
