Position Overview
A busy tax office is seeking a
Temporary Scanning & Data Entry Clerk
to assist during peak tax season. This role requires someone who is
immediately available
, dependable, and able to
jump in quickly
to help organize and process client documents. The assignment is expected to run
from now through the end of April 2026
.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan client tax documents accurately into the system
- Organize electronic files and verify document clarity/completeness
- Perform data entry of client information and tax-related details
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Assist staff with general clerical tasks as needed
- Keep work area organized and follow office procedures
Qualifications
- Prior experience scanning documents is REQUIRED
- Previous data entry or office support experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment
- Basic computer skills and comfort learning new systems quickly
- Must be reliable and available to start immediately
