We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to develop, coordinate, and support electrical design, fabrication, installation, and integration activities for industrial equipment and systems.
This is a hands-on engineering role that offers involvement throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial electrical design and documentation through fabrication, assembly, installation, troubleshooting, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical designs, schematics, drawings, and support technical documentation.
- Design and support electrical enclosures, including component selection, layout, fabrication, wiring, and assembly.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight for electrical installation, wiring, and integration activities at the company's facility.
- Support electrical installation, troubleshooting, and implementation at customer locations.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams to ensure projects meet technical requirements and schedules.
- Assist with equipment startup, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure electrical designs and installations comply with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and industry standards.
- Identify and resolve electrical design and installation challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Experience developing electrical designs, schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of electrical enclosures, wiring, fabrication, and assembly.
- Experience supporting electrical installation and integration in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with industrial electrical systems, automated equipment, and machinery.
- Familiarity with electrical design software and CAD tools.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements.
- Experience supporting equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work hands-on with manufacturing and installation teams while providing engineering expertise.
